Compare the cash cost of Fortnite Crew (Path A) to buying V-Bucks packs to cover selected mode passes (Path B) over a planning horizon.

Constants (modeled)

• Crew: $11.99 / month
• Crew monthly V-Bucks: 800
• Pass costs (VB): BR 800, OG 800, LEGO 1200, Music 1200; Rocket Pass Premium treated as Crew-included (0 VB cash path)
• V-Bucks packs (US list): 800 @ $8.99; 2800 @ $22.99; 5000 @ $37.99; 13500 @ $89.99

Path A

Months × $11.99. Optional Crew Pack slider ($0–20) is a personal soft value only — it does not reduce the subscription cash paid; it adjusts the “effective” comparison for players who value cosmetics.

Path B

Sum V-Bucks for selected passes × months, then estimate USD via greedy pack purchases (prefer packs that cover remaining demand at lowest USD, else largest pack). Leftover V-Bucks are noted but not refunded.
